Bonsai Notebook Bob Pressler returns as our demonstrator in May.  He is the owner of Kimura Bonsai Nursery in Los Angeles, a great nursery to visit and shop for bonsai.  He is a member of California Bonsai Society and Nampukai.

Bonsai Notebook BRING ONE OF YOUR TREES!! Join us at the March 14 meeting for a unique presentation by Uyen Truong.  Besides being a great bonsai artist,  Uyen is an accomplished artist in painting and drawing.  He will use his drawing skills to design a tree for you using your material.

Bonsai Notebook We will kick off our new year of demonstrations with Michael Jonas in February.  Michael has been a long-time member of our club and served on our board.  He is also a member and current president of Descanso Bonsai Society.

Bonsai Notebook Happy New Year! ANNUAL HOLIDAY POTLUCK DINNER Please bring a salad, fruit dish, or dessert. The club will provide the main dish and beverages. Bring bonsai related items for the raffle if possible, and we will have our biggest raffle of the year.

Bonsai Notebook The last meeting of the calendar year will be very special.  Our guest demonstrator Nov. 8 will be Mauro Stemberger.  Born in 1978 in Feltre, Italy, Mauro now works as an architect and a bonsai artist.

Bonsai Notebook The August meeting will feature one of our local favorites, Ted Matson.  Ted got started in bonsai in the 1970’s in the S.F. Bay area and moved to Southern California in 1980.  He joined several clubs and started a serious pursuit of the bonsai art.
