The July meeting will feature Frank Goya and his famous talent for designing saikai, or living landscapes.  Frank is known as one of the top bonsai artists in our country and as the “dean” of saikai.
Frank was born in California, was interred during World War II, and then served in the U.S. Army for three years. He worked as a professional gardener and started to learn about bonsai and saikai.  One of his saikai compositions is on display at the National Arboretum in Washington, D. C. Continue reading
