Demo: Mel Ikeda- Raft Style
For the May 10 meeting at the Arboretum we will have Mel Ikeda, and he will be demonstrating one of his specialties, a juniper raft style.
It will be an entertaining process to watch, and a lucky raffle winner will take home the completed new bonsai.
Join us for another great learning experience.

SABS Annual Members Memorial Weekend Show: May 24-26
May is show month for our club.
We encourage everyone to enter a tree and help us with the show set-up, take-down and monitoring of the trees during the Show. Volunteers make this show successful !
The regular May 10 meeting will be the deadline for for entering, so if you have not yet completed an entry form, it will be available at the meeting.
Getting your entries in make it possible for us to have an accurate tree count for the show set-up.
Please consider completing an entry form even if it is just to help with the set-up and volunteering during the show. .
The Sales Table worksheets and item tags will be available at this meeting for those of you who want to get a head-start getting items ready for the Sales table
Your questions about the Show, Sales Table and display guidelines will also be discussed.

April 2025 Meeting Highlights
Our April meeting featured Marcus Juniel who brought a large prostrata juniper to work on.
He chose a cascade style for the tree, and he explained his work throughout the process.
Marcus interacted with us continuously, and everyone enjoyed his work and the conversation.
Y.S. Farn was the lucky winner of the beautiful cascade juniper.
