SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT Santa Anita Bonsai Society Holiday Raffle & Potluck December 9, 2017 Location: LAC Arboretum – Palm Room Time: 6pm Come join us for the raffle event of the year with some added holiday fun and frolic.  This will be a special holiday raffle event coupled with our holiday potluck, but don’t forget to double check the date.  Due to a conflict between the normal January SABS meeting on January 13th, 2018 with the Baikoen “Winter Silhouettes” Bonsai Show we have decided to move our January potluck to December and add a very special raffle to go with it. For Food: Club will provide main dish and drinks. Bring your favorite sides, salads or desserts to share. The Raffle:  Bring an item for the raffle table. Club items will include trees and pots donated and purchased especially for this raffle. This will include 5 stock trees from Jim Barrett’s Collection! Once again, date change is due to SABS meeting conflict on Jan 13, 2018 with the Baikoen “Winter Silhouettes” Bonsai Show Reminder: BONSAI STOCK SALE for bonsai club members only Saturday and Sunday, November 25 and 26, 9am to 4pm Location: home of Jim Barrett, 480 Oxford Rd., Arcadia (across from the Arboretum) 20% discount on tree stock and on some bonsai tools and pots
