Membership

Our annual membership drive for the new year will also start at this meeting.

Single memberships continue to be $20 and family memberships are $25.
Cash, Check or Zelle payment options are available

Memberships that were paid in October or November of 2025 will be honored for the 2026 calendar year.

Annual PotLuck

Make note of the early start time.
This meeting will begin at 6p so we have dinner at a reasonable hour.
We look forward to seeing all of you to start the new year.

The club will be providing the main dish and water.
Please bring your favorite side dish or dessert to help complete the potluck dinner.

Bonsai Bingo

After our meal, we will be playing Bonsai Bingo, which has been a big hit whenever we have played.
Instead of our normal raffle table, donated items will be used as the prizes for the bingo game.
So consider bringing a bonsai-related item that you would like to win in the game.
The more items we have, the more bingo games will be played.

Election & Installation of Club Officers

This year is an election year for our club officers including President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
If you are interested in any of these positions or any of our other support positions, let us know.
All our positions are voluntary and vital to our ability to offer our members the best possible learning experience.

Sneak Peak

Bill Ward will be our guest presenter at the February meeting and will speak briefly about the program for next month.

November Meeting Highlights

The November meeting involved members bringing in a tree they wanted to develop for entry in our annual May show at the Arboretum.
Daniel Deephouse was our guest, and he spent time with each member talking over ideas to help them continue the development of their trees in preparation for the show.
There will be another meeting before the show to once again help with the progress of our trees for the show.

Ray Blasingame brought another of his mom’s, Marge Blasingame, shohin trees for our raffle.
We pulled a single ticket from the raffle drum for Marge’s tree.
At the end of the raffle, member Daniel Deephouse held the lucky ticket for the tree.

Thanks to Ray for his gracious donation to our club.
We will never forget Marge and all she did for this club over many decades of involvement.
