Demo: Member Workshop with Mel Ikeda

We are looking forward to hosting bonsai master Mel Ikeda at our March 8 meeting at the Arboretum.
This will be an opportunity for our members to bring in a tree to get input with ideas on how to take their tree to a new level of development.
Bring your “problem” tree or one you just want a second opinion on.
Mel is looking forward to providing his thoughts on the material he sees at the meeting.
Bring your tools in case you decide to dive in on Mel’s suggestions.
We will all learn from his comments on each tree.
Mel will provide good ideas on every tree.
So, don’t be shy, bring a tree for a fun evening.
Observers welcome, too.

If you haven’t yet joined SABS for 2025 come to our March Meeting
this is a great opportunity to work on a “problem tree” and help support SABS.

Annual Individual membership is $20 & Family membership is $25
Payable at the door (cash or check only)

Feb 2025 Meeting Highlights

Thanks to everyone who came to the February meeting and renewed their memberships for the new year.
Your membership is what helps sustain the club, and we appreciate it.
Thanks also for the many, many amazing bingo prize donations and food that was shared by all.

Mike Kelly, once again, did a great job running our Bonsai Bingo games,
and I think everyone enjoyed the fun and picked out their favorite bonsai term… Dave
